Venny Soldan-Brofeldt

Artist, sculptor, and jewelry designer.

My new workshops in Isle of Man are now live:)

I am so excited to tell you that I have now opened my online store, where there will be jewellery from next week, but from now there are a number of workshops. You can choose a one on one workshop or a group one which will have no more than 5 attendees. I want to be sure that I can help and guide each and every person and that we will have fun:)

If you are interested in workshops but cannot do the date or time, please just get in touch and let me know what day and time would suit better. I have set dates and times to see what is suitable for people. I am flexible as I work from home, so I can arrange workshops on a different day or at a different time.

Below is the link to my new online store where you can book workshops. I will add more during the next week or so.

There will be teas and coffees available plus treats. We will work in our kitchen so I can keep the cats away from the table…they are very curious:) If you are allergic to cats, please let me know what date you have booked and I will make sure to have vacuumed the day before.

If you are booking a one on one wire workshop and would prefer me to come to you, please let me know as that is ok. I cannot do that with the silver workshop due to all the materials and tools needed.

On another note …

I have many ideas for 2026. I will keep you posted as things evolve. One thing I want to do is write about stones and crystals. Where they can be found, what they are good for and show jewellery I have made with them. This will be a monthly newsletter, no more than that. I know that frequent emails can feel overwhelming, and I do not want to do that to anyone. I will write once a month, with perhaps another email with news of markets, fairs and other news:) I will probably need to put a reminder in my phone calendar to make sure I remember to write these email newsletters…lol

On a final note, I am really not the best at writing emails, I am much better at making jewellery. I did consider using Chat GPT or other AI tools to write, but I feel that doing that would mean it is no longer my voice. I am having a hard time deciding if I am ok using AI tools for anything apart from research and photo editing. That is my issue, and I have no issues with others doing it. I feel it is up to every person. It is just that as a creative, there are so many fakes out there, so many copyright infringements and such, and it scares me. I hope you can bear with me being me.

I hope to see you at my workshops soon:) (below you can see my Christmas memories…sleepy cats, a few penguins I learned how to paint, some dragons I received from Indonesia and a pic of a favourite lodolite quartz pendant…oh, and I read the first book in a series to make sure it was good as I am sending them to my niece’s daughter one by one…an excuse to read about unicorns…lol)

Hugs, Ylva
